About the Role
We are looking for Patient Transport Service (PTS) Ambulance Care Assistants to join our team in Bradford and provide essential non‑emergency transport for patients across Yorkshire.
Responsibilities
* Support patients, their carers and healthcare representatives by safely transporting them to and from healthcare appointments.
* Assist hospitals in discharging patients who are fit to leave the hospital setting.
* Adapt communication style to meet the individual needs of each patient.
* Work both independently and as part of a double crew, covering journeys across Yorkshire and Humberside.
* Maintain a polite, professional and welcoming demeanor to ensure a pleasant patient experience.
Requirements
* Full UK manual driving licence.
* Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely.
* Strong communication skills to interact with a wide range of people, from patients to healthcare representatives.
