The Role: Sustainability Graduate
This is your chance to kickstart your career in sustainability! As a Sustainability Graduate at the Agratas Battery Manufacturing Facility, you will:
* Support the delivery of our sustainability objectives across the site.
* Gain hands-on experience in environmental management, resource efficiency, and responsible construction practices.
* Collaborate with the Sustainability Manager and the Agratas Community Engagement Manager to foster positive relationships within the local community.
This role offers a unique opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to a flagship project with high sustainability ambitions.
Your Responsibilities
As a Sustainability Graduate, you will be involved in:
Environmental & Sustainability Delivery
* Monitoring environmental performance across site operations.
* Collecting data for carbon reporting, waste management, and energy use.
* Implementing project sustainability plans and best practices.
* Conducting routine site inspections for environmental compliance.
* Contributing to sustainability reporting and presentation materials.
Community Engagement & Stakeholder Relationships
* Supporting local engagement initiatives with the Agratas Community Engagement Manager.
* Planning and delivering community events and educational activities.
* Maintaining positive relationships with local residents and community groups.
* Producing engagement materials such as newsletters and digital content.
* Monitoring community feedback and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions.
General Support
* Coordinating with site teams to promote sustainable behaviors.
* Maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to progress reports.
* Assisting with logistics and project-wide sustainability initiatives.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Geography, Built Environment, or a related field.
* Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* A proactive communicator who builds constructive relationships.
* A passion for sustainability, community impact, and continuous learning.
