Shift Maintenance Engineer (11.30am - 8pm, Mon to Fri): Electrical Bias
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Salary: c GBP40k to GBP45k, negotiable depending on experience, plus benefits such as overtime, pension, bonus, and opportunities for progression.
Our Rugby-based client, a global leader established for over a century in their niche sector solutions, is seeking a multi-skilled, electrically biased shift Maintenance Engineer. The role involves maintaining automated systems and mechanical handling equipment in a fast-paced warehousing environment, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Performing reactive fault diagnosis and repairs on automated and manual equipment, analyzing breakdowns, and implementing preventative maintenance.
2. Achieving KPIs and objectives set by the Line Manager.
3. Working at heights (up to 25m) and participating in rescue operations (training and PPE provided).
4. Contributing to continuous improvements and project work, maintaining best practices.
5. Coordinating with contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion, including site visits.
Candidate requirements:
* Completed electrical maintenance engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
* Relevant engineering qualifications (HND or above preferred).
* At least 3 years of experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering environment, with knowledge of automation electrical systems, PLCs (S7), inverters, Profinet, Profibus, Can-Bus, ASI networks, barcode networks, cranes, conveyors, and mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
