Job Summary
Solicitor or experienced paralegal or other legal professional to play a pivotal role in setting up and managing our Fraud and scams claims team. This position involves recruiting and managing the team and overseeing the investigation and resolution of fraud claims, ensuring that all processes are conducted efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in this area and exceptional organisational skills, enabling them to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accessibility and training to the team
This is a great opportunity to take a key role in a rapidly expanding firm of solicitors. We are located in very pleasant offices in central Warrington close to 2 train statins and the bus station
Responsibilities
* Lead the fraud claims department, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and implement strategies to detect, to onboard clients, run successful claims and recover monies and compensation for our clients.
* Oversee the investigation of fraud claims, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies as necessary.
* Review and analyse claims data to identify trends and patterns within the department.
* Prepare detailed reports on fraud incidents, providing insights for future prevention efforts.
* Train and mentor team members on best practices for handling fraud claims.
* Collaborate with other departments to enhance integration and efficiency across the organisation.
* Maintain accurate records of all fraud-related activities and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role or environment.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex data sets related to fraud claims.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements surrounding fraud and scam recovery is expecteds.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
