This is a wonderful opportunity to join my client, a trusted, industry-leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for lending their expertise to a range of important projects across the geo-environmental, flood risk, and drainage sectors. They are on the lookout for a capable, experienced Senior Flood Risk Consultant, willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside an already-established team of professionals, based near the lively, multicultural city of Manchester.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Flood Risk Consultant include:
Leading a variety of projects across flood risk and drainage, for clients across the public and private sectors, including working with Local Authorities and on residential developments
Undertaking technical work, including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications
Developing Drainage Strategies and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
Utilising the relevant software programmes (InfoDrainage and Causeway PDS) for designs and pre-planning projects
Mentor, train, manage colleagues
Forge and manage relationships with a range of clients and other stakeholders
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Flood Risk Consultant include:
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, or similar, relevant discipline
Extensive experience in a UK consultancy setting (or Local Authority) in a design-based role
Demonstrable experience of producing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and Drainage Designs
Excellent working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S38, S104, etc.)
Proficient in the use of Causeway PDS (especially Causeway Flow), MicroDrainage, and InfoDrainage
Experience in leading a team and/or projects, throughout implementation
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Flood Risk Consultant include:
Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
Experience of managing client and stakeholder relations
Project management experience
Experience of completing detailed design solutions for soakaways and lagoons
