Design & Technology Teacher (Engineering Desirable) – Part Time

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to work on a part-time basis in a high‑achieving mainstream secondary school in Bridgend.
The role is to begin as soon as possible, following completion of all safeguarding and compliance checks.
The successful candidate will have experience teaching Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with engineering specialism highly desirable. They will be confident delivering engaging, practical lessons that inspire students and develop their technical knowledge and problem‑solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high‑quality Design & Technology lessons
* Teach across a range of DT disciplines, with engineering preferred
* Assess, monitor and report on student progress
* Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
* Adhere to school policies and maintain high standards of behaviour
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level
* Engineering specialism (desirable)
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
* Ability to start promptly following vetting and clearance
