Each JoJo store is unique, with its own layout and location. Our unique selling point is the relationship we build with customers, many of whom are loyal to our brand and local store team. You will be the face of JoJo, providing excellent customer care and service that we are renowned for and uphold. You’ll guide, inform, and assist customers in the correct purchase of our clothing and products for various customers such as expectant parents or family members.
We uphold B Corp principles and operate in a digital retail world with Omni-Channel customer service. Many stores offer Ship from Store or Click and Collect; you will take ownership of preparing and shipping these orders daily.
A typical day
Be the brand ambassador, safeguard our values and ethos, demonstrate honesty and respect in interactions, foster collaboration and active listening, and take ownership of all aspects of the role.
Responsibilities
* Assisting customers in varied situations, including maternity wear, bra fitting, or demonstrating products for parents.
* Preparing Omni-Channel orders.
* Liaising with customers in-store or via phone regarding Omni-Channel orders.
* Using digital or virtual learning platforms to develop product knowledge and retail skills.
* Learning new products to increase sales opportunities.
* Actively listening to customers’ needs and identifying the best solutions.
* Keeping the store immaculate and well-presented.
Working patterns: A typical week would include 1 x 5-hour shift, with flexibility required based on store requirements.
Qualifications and skills
* Previous retail, customer service and sales experience.
* Competent IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Ability to learn and retain product information and communicate it effectively to customers.
* Self-driven with a curiosity to learn new products independently.
* Strong listening, empathy, and understanding of customer needs; able to sell without hard-sell techniques.
* Ability to work harmoniously within a small team.
* Flexibility to work in a retail environment open seven days a week.
* Keen eye for detail and ability to maintain store standards.
