Customer Care Officer needed in Carmarthen Paying £12.84 per hr ref 1521680 Full time hours on a temporary basis Key Responsibilities: Customer Advocacy: Take ownership of all customer contacts, ensuring each is resolved to the customer's satisfaction. Caseload Management: Handle a caseload of public, member, and senior management contacts for relevant officers. Advice and Assistance: Provide prompt and accurate advice, information, and assistance on a wide range of enquiries, including complaints, councillor enquiries, and service applications. Decision Making: Determine eligibility for specific services within established guidelines, using a broad knowledge of relevant legislation and a high degree of initiative. Collaboration: Work with colleagues in other service areas to ensure high levels of first-time call resolution and customer satisfaction. Administrative Support: Undertake administrative tasks as required to support the department. IT Systems Utilization: Use a wide range of Council IT systems and databases to process enquiries and ensure accurate record-keeping. Data Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of data in compliance with the Data Protection Act. Web Content Management: Update and manage web content for the department’s services. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all financial and administrative procedures. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for the department.
