An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the team at Dundonald Day Services, based within the Dundonald Centre.

The successful candidate will collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals and local authority colleagues. The role involves working with individuals experiencing severe and/or enduring mental health issues, focusing on skills development and community reintegration. It also requires close collaboration with the voluntary sector.

After completing the necessary induction and training, the selected candidate will manage an allocated individual patient caseload under the supervision of Community Mental Health Nurses and Occupational Therapists. Candidates must have relevant experience and a strong understanding of the Recovery Model, demonstrating a commitment to a recovery-focused approach.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to adhere to the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are 22 per week, between 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. There is an aspiration for community services to operate 7 days a week, and you would be expected to participate in this schedule.
