Inventory Clerk – Southampton Office
This is a full‑time position with an estimated total earnings of £27,500 per annum.
Responsibilities
* Take high‑quality photographs to supplement written descriptions and provide visual evidence.
* Assess property cleanliness and note areas requiring attention according to the tenancy agreement.
* Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly to property owners or management.
* Arrange and conduct check‑out appointments with tenants, clearly communicating inspection procedures.
* Provide clarification and respond to tenant concerns regarding the inventory report findings.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legal requirements for inventory procedures.
* Organise and maintain accurate records of inventory reports, photographs, and correspondence.
* Work effectively with property owners, tenants, and other stakeholders involved in the process.
* Continuously look for opportunities to improve inventory management procedures and service quality.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines during property inspections.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to inventory management.
* Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
