Salary:
£63,900+ (depending on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
Provide financial insight and proposed actions to improve the underlying financial performance
Partnering with the business to identify ways to maximise Return on Sales
Integrate within the Bid teams to become a trusted Business Partner
Ensure there is focus on maximising operating cashflows
Work across the different elements of our Finance teams to optimise performance
Driving process improvements, with particular focus on accuracy of inputs and delivery of cost opportunities
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Must be CIMA, ACA or ACCA (AAT will not be accepted) Qualified
Experience of people management and development is preferable desirable (with some indirect line management)
Experience in a similar role as a Finance Business Partner/ Project Accountant engaging with non-Finance staff and providing decision support to stakeholders – demonstrating business acumen
Desirable:
Involvement with bids
Demonstratable experience with process improvement

The Radar Project Team:
The Radar Project Team plays a critical role in delivering next-generation radar capability for the Typhoon platform, ensuring it remains at the forefront of operational effectiveness for European and international customers. Working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, the team partners with Operations, Procurement, Commercial, Project Management, and Finance to drive programme performance, enable strategic growth, and support key initiatives across boundaries.
