Role Responsibilities
* Lead and develop SEND provision across the school as SENCo
* Oversee EHCPs, provision mapping and interventions in your SENCo role
* Work closely with teaching staff to ensure high-quality, inclusive classroom practice
* Liaise effectively with parents, external agencies and local authorities
* Use data to monitor progress and outcomes for pupils with SEND in Braintree, Essex
Person Specification
* Qualified teacher with the National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete)
* Strong understanding of SEND legislation, statutory guidance and best practice
* Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
* Organised, proactive and confident in leading whole-school SEND strategy
* Passionate about inclusion and ready to take on the responsibility of the SENCo position in Braintree, Essex
