About the Firm & Role
A leading, customer centric legal practice in Sheffield is seeking a 2PQE+ Corporate Solicitor to join their expanding business and corporate team. The firm since its inception has and earned a strong reputation in corporate law, insolvency, business recovery, dispute resolution, and commercial property
You’ll work from their centrally located Sheffield office, joining a collaborative and skilled team that serves professionals, SMEs, and larger enterprises. The focus is on delivering practical, responsive, and commercially astute legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage corporate transactions from start to finish, including M&A, share capital reorganisations, and governance matters.
* Draft and negotiate shareholder agreements, articles of association, and other commercial documentation.
* Support clients with corporate structuring, investment rounds, and funding arrangements.
* Collaborate internally with colleagues across insolvency, property, and dispute resolution teams for integrated client solutions.
* Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and consistent delivery.
* Stay updated on corporate legislation and market trends to advise proactively.
About You
* Qualified solicitor with minimum 2 years’ PQE in corporate or commercial law.
* Demonstrable experience in M&A transactions, governance, or corporate finance.
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
* Client-focused approach with excellent communication and organisational abilities.
* Team player who thrives in a collaborative professional environment.
