Procurement Associate

Role Overview
In this hybrid role based at our head office in Diss, you will work onsite 2 days a week, supporting our product management team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Forecasting and Procurement:
Assist with forecasting and placing purchase orders with MiPet suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
* Supplier Coordination:
Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
* Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure the best terms for CVS, buying groups, and Animed Direct.
* Out of Stock Management:
Collaborate on managing out-of-stock events to minimize disruption and ensure financial recovery.
* Compliance and Innovation:
Ensure all purchases align with legal requirements and internal policies, and contribute to the development of new packaging artworks consistent with branding guidelines.
Key Skills and Experience
* Procurement Experience:
A background in procurement is essential.
* Organizational Skills:
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
* Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-Oriented:
Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial.
* Problem Solving:
Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
* Microsoft Proficiency:
Skilled in Microsoft packages, especially Excel.
* Pharmaceutical Experience:
Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is an advantage but not required.
