The Education Workforce Council (EWC) is the independent, professional regulator for the education workforce in Wales.
As part of the Qualifications and Registration team, the Registration Officer will play a key role in delivering the EWC’s registration work. This includes maintaining the Register of Education Practitioners, providing a professional bilingual enquiry service and helpdesk facility for practitioners and employers, administering the award of Qualified Teacher Status and developing and preparing reports and statistics.
Responsibilities
* Deliver the EWC’s registration work
* Maintain the Register of Education Practitioners
* Provide a professional bilingual enquiry service and helpdesk facility for practitioners and employers
* Administer the award of Qualified Teacher Status
* Develop and prepare reports and statistics
Qualifications
* Excellent IT skills, particularly in using MS Excel to manipulate data
* Fluency in Welsh, with the ability to work through the medium of Welsh and English
