* £32,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

* Based at Head Office: Hertfordshire – Commutable from Hemel, Watford and St Albans

Technical Sales Engineer – Role and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Technical Sales Director, your key duties will include:
* Translating customer enquiries into accurate technical specifications and bespoke quotations
* Logging, tracking, and managing quotations and sales orders in line with company processes
* Coordinating between the Sales and Production teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
* Raising purchase orders and invoices for sales
* Managing projects from initial enquiry to completion, ensuring high customer satisfaction
* Creating and publishing monthly case studies for marketing use
* Drafting and scheduling quarterly e-shots for customer outreach
* Participating in the technical support out-of-hours rota (on a rotational basis)
Technical Sales Engineer – Skills and Experience:
Essential:
* Proven administrative or sales support experience in a technical or engineering environment
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database systems
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Comfortable managing customers and working independently or as part of a team
* Mechanically minded with the ability to problem-solve technical issues
* Understanding of basic electrical systems and pipework installations
* Willingness to visit construction sites and work both outdoors and in an office environment
Desirable:
* Experience in the pumped drainage, mechanical or electrical engineering sector
* Background in engineering, either through work experience or academic qualification
* Familiarity with the construction or building services industry
* Confident working under pressure with a flexible and mature approach
