Network Design & Implementation Specialist
Contract role - (2- 3 Months with possible extension)
** Cloud‑based architecture
** VOIP
** SIP
** WIFI
** Network provisioning to cloud services.
** AWS
* Router configuration, switch programming
* Pendant setup
** DECT base configuration
** pendant receiver setup
** Troubleshooting Wi‑Fi dependencies highlighted in previous governance reports.
** Ensuring correct firmware loads, template uploads, site-specific programming and scheme‑level validation.
** Advanced network engineering: Router config, VLAN, switching, MTU handling, DHCP/static IP setup.
** Field network implementation experience, ideally in multi‑site or distributed IoT/telecare environments.
** Experience with SIP/SCAIP
** Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS preferred) and network provisioning to cloud services.
** Hands-on experience with device firmware upgrade flows, config distribution, and field hardware commissioning.
Job Role:
To provide expert-level capacity in network design, site configuration, build, testing and implementation while also contributing to the solution design and technical requirements of the project
This is a delivery‑critical assignment that directly impacts contractual milestones with Housing and other authorities.
* Router configuration, switch programming, LARC/RPI setup, DECT base configuration, pendant receiver setup and other documented templates.
* Troubleshooting Wi‑Fi dependencies highlighted in previous governance reports.
* Ensuring correct firmware loads, template uploads, site-specific programming and scheme‑level validation.
* Provide technical expertise and support for next‑generation network architecture, which transitions from local server‑based to cloud‑based operation.
* Influencing network‑level decisions related to cloud connectivity, AWS architecture, device registration, and mesh networking.
* Reviewing network behaviour to inform assumptions and constraints.
* Supporting solution design boards and contributing to technical documentation.
