Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, strengthening existing customer relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of market trends within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets.
* Prepare and present monthly sales reports, annual forecasts, and performance analysis.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, research, and proactive outreach.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
* Manage customer enquiries and prepare quotations.
* Liaise closely with factory management to understand customer requirements and develop tailored processes and solutions.
* Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs.
* Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and networking functions.
* Cover office duties when required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within the coatings or coatings applications industry.
* Exposure to or familiarity with manufacturing environments.
* Excellent IT skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
* Highly organised with strong time management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and colleagues at all levels.
* Flexible, resourceful, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Salary 40k-45k plus bonus and car allowance.
