About the role
We are pleased to offer an opportunity to join our Estate Housekeeping Management Team as Assistant Manager.
In this role, you will:
* ensure exceptional high standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained, demonstrating a fine eye for detail and a strong work ethic.
* lead, retain and develop the housekeeping and porter team and ensure that team members within the department are engaged and happy at work.
* oversee rotas for the housekeeping and porter teams and ensure resource in in line with business levels
* support the Estate Housekeeping Manager to write and maintain department SOPs to the required standards
* carry out recruitment tasks including overseeing interviews and work trials
* ensure that all coffee chats and one to ones are up to date and that team members have clear development plans/objectives in place
To be suitable for this role you will:
* housekeeping management experience gained within a large 4/5 star hotel/resort environment
* demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills
* be comfortable working hands-on within the operation and managing office tasks such as rota writing and inventory management.
* have the ability to communicate well with your team and help build a positive and fun workplace culture.
* demonstrate a good understanding of all health and safety and COSHH procedures
* possess a full clean driving license
