About the role
We require a passionate and visionary leader with a deep commitment to inclusive education, capable of leading ALN across the 3-19 age range of Cowbridge School. The successful candidate will have strategic insight and drive to shape and lead outstanding inclusive provision in a vibrant and diverse school, and will be willing to undertake professional learning for continuous improvement at senior level in a large and evolving 3-19 school.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will:
* Be committed to equity, inclusion, and high expectations for all learners, especially those with barriers to learning;
* Lead the strategic development of ALN provision across the school;
* Promote inclusive practice and ensure compliance with the ALN and ET (Wales) Act;
* Contribute to whole-school leadership and improvement planning;
* Engage, inspire, and build strong relationships with all stakeholders;
* Be a committed team player, supporting colleagues and contributing to an established collaborative culture;
* Be a creative thinker, with a positive and enthusiastic approach to work and be solution-focused;
* Demonstrate a commitment to raising standards of achievement and improving whole school priorities.
