Are you an Occupational Therapist keen to take on the challenge of further developing your clinical and leadership skills? Have you ever considered working in mental health? If so this job is for you:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Occupational Therapy Inpatient Team based in Queen Margaret Hospital, Fife. Come and join a very close working and dedicated team of Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Healthcare Clinical Support workers (HCSW) to deliver high quality rehabilitation to mostly older patients with a wide range of conditions, with the aim of optimising their physical function.

You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, and you will be expected to carry out ongoing treatment programmes and joint treatments with the Occupational Therapy staff. You will have good organisational skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as well as within the team.

You will have an SVQ Level III in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Experience working as a physiotherapy or occupational therapy HCSW, and experience working with older people will be very desirable. There may be occasions where you will be required to work in one of the other community hospital sites.

Our service offers regular supervision, personal development plans, and supports training opportunities.

The ability to travel throughout the area is essential. We currently provide cover on public holidays (except Christmas and New Years Day)
