As Axil’s People Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering credible HR support across the business. You’ll advise managers, guide employees, and ensure consistency and fairness in everything we do.
Responsibilities:
This role requires strong experience working within unionised environments, including:
* Acting as the HR lead on unionised sites, fostering collaborative relationships.
Beyond union activity, you will be trusted to support managers and teams across all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including:
* Employee Relations – investigations, disciplinaries, welfare meetings and absence control
* Policy & Compliance – compliance with employment law and company P&P
* Recruitment & Onboarding – full circle of recruitment and onboarding
* Performance & Talent Management – performance reviews, capability processes and plans of development
* Health, Wellbeing & Engagement to support retention and support employees
* Multi-Site Coordination - Travel to remote locations to provide onsite support and tailored HR guidance
Who We’re Looking For

Location
The preferred location for this role is the Stoke-on-Trent area, with a generic postcode listed for guidance. This is a hybrid position that requires travel to various remote sites across the UK.
Car allowance of £7,960 per annum is applicable.
