TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming private day nurseries across York who are seeking dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join their teams from September. These settings are committed to providing safe, nurturing, and stimulating environments where children can thrive through play‑based learning and positive early experiences.
The nurseries are looking to appoint Early Years Practitioners on both full‑time and part‑time contracts. The successful Early Years Practitioner will support children throughout the early years age range, delivering engaging activities, promoting development in line with the EYFS framework, maintaining a safe learning environment, and ensuring children receive the highest standard of care and education.
Responsibilities
* Support children throughout the early years age range

Qualifications
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
* Valid Paediatric First Aid qualification
* Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
* Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
