At STERIS Instrument Processing, we are experts in surgical instrument sterilisation. We offer on- and offsite re-processing, alongside reliable instrument maintenance solutions. We are recruiting for a Sterile Services Technician. This entry-level role offers world-class training and a clear career pathway.
About You

Training and Working Pattern
12 weeks of training, initially Monday-Friday 9:00-17:00. Afterwards, ongoing training during your shift hours, which are:
* Alternating weeks 7:00 - 15:00 & 12:00 - 20:00
* At least 1 bank holiday per year
* Occasional Saturday work if required

What You Will Do
* Follow sterilization and decontamination processes for surgical instruments used in NHS and private hospitals.
* Prepare sterile consumables by decontamination, inspection, assembly, and packing.
* Check, wash, and pack theatre instruments to meet quality standards.
* Operate and monitor sterilization equipment safely.
* Record repairs and missing items using the Tracking and Traceability system.
* Return repaired instruments to stock or designated sets.

Required Experience
* Good general education, with verbal and numerical skills.
