We are seeking an experienced and motivated Administration Line Manager to join our busy Emergency Department & Acute Medical team for Eastern Services. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative services that support the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment alongside helping support the Operational Team with patient flow.
As the Administration Line Manager, you will lead and manage the administrative team, ensuring efficient processes, excellent communication, and compliance with NHS standards. You will work closely with clinical and operational colleagues to maintain a patient-focused service.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and develop the Emergency Department & Acute Medical Unit administrative team.
* Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including patient records, data entry, patient flow and reception services.
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting of departmental performance metrics.
* Implement and monitor compliance with NHS policies and procedures.
* Support workforce planning, recruitment, and staff training.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and patient experience.
* Act as the first point of escalation for administrative issues within the department.
* Support the Operational Team with patient flow and escalation.
About You
* Proven experience in administration management, ideally within a healthcare setting.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
* Knowledge of NHS systems, (EPIC) and processes.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospital administration software.
Working Pattern:37.5hrs over 4 days (Mon-Friday)
