Relying on your expertise, you will carry out inventory checks, identify obsolete stock, and evaluate the capability, durability, and reparability of components/parts to deliver cost savings where possible.
You will collaborate with the Engineering team regarding upcoming projects, proactively preparing the required parts and stock. Alongside this, you will liaise with suppliers to confirm right components are on hand, as well as accurately processing invoices for payments.
From time to time, it will be necessary to appraise components/parts to establish the most efficient and cost-effective course of action.
Please be mindful that within the operational part of our tissue mills, you may encounter some humidity, puddles on the ground from water residue, and a scent from waste-water extraction. We minimise this as much as reasonably possible, however this is a common theme within a tissue mill setting, and we are committed to our ‘Zero Harm by Choice’ guiding principle.
