Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality primary care, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventative healthcare, to a diverse patient population with varying medical needs.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and administrative staff, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
* Educate patients about managing chronic illnesses, preventative care, and overall wellness strategies.
* Prescribe medications or therapies and monitor their effectiveness, adjusting treatments as needed.
* Perform routine medical procedures, such as suturing, vaccinations, or minor wound care.
* Provide compassionate support and culturally sensitive care to patients from different socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, and gender backgrounds.
* Stay up to date with the latest medical trends, treatments, and guidelines to consistently deliver evidence-based care.
* Act as a mentor to junior medical professionals and provide leadership in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Qualifications
* A recognized medical degree and current board certification as a General Practitioner or equivalent.
* Valid medical license to practice and prescribe in the jurisdiction of employment.

Day-to-Day
* Conduct routine check-ups, diagnose illnesses, and provide treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
* Manage and monitor patients with chronic and long-term conditions while offering compassionate medical support.
* Collaborate in team meetings to review patient cases and develop integrated care pathways.
* Provide referrals to specialists or coordinate care with other healthcare providers as needed.
* Train and supervise junior staff and participate in outreach programs to promote preventative health measures in the community.
* Respond to urgent healthcare situations and provide timely, critical interventions when necessary.
