Position
We are looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager for Yorkshire. We are also open to applications from people who may prefer to work part time and would be happy to explore options with the right candidate.
This role is suited to someone with experience in business development and relationship management who is confident working across health, public sector, VCSE and corporate environments. You will support the sustainable growth of Henshaws services in North Yorkshire by securing new income streams and building strong partnerships that reflect local priorities.
Your work will directly support our mission to empower people with sight loss and other disabilities to live independently and confidently.
Salary and Benefits
* Salary: £22.15 per hour or £40,313 per annum
* Hours per week: 35 (We welcome interest from applicants who may prefer to work part time)
* Weeks per year: 52
* Annual leave: 5 weeks plus 10 days bank holiday
* Contract: Permanent
* Location: Henshaws Yorkshire based across Harrogate and Knaresborough with some travel required

Additional Requirements
You will need experience in business development, sales or income generation within a target driven environment, along with confidence managing a structured sales pipeline. Experience preparing bids or commercial proposals is essential.
A degree or equivalent professional experience is required. Experience in the charity, arts, VCSE or public sector is desirable but not essential, as is knowledge of commissioning and procurement processes.
You should be comfortable building relationships across local authorities, community partners and corporate organisations. Strong communication and presentation skills are important, along with the ability to interpret financial and strategic information to shape compelling proposals.
The role requires flexibility to travel across sites in Yorkshire. An enhanced DBS check including the child barring list will be required. We welcome applications from people with a positive and supportive approach to disabled people and those with additional needs.
