Salary: £494 gross per week (starting at minimum of scale)
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Location: All depot locations in Northern Ireland

The Department for Infrastructure is now recruiting for Industrial Road Workers. Successful candidates will join the Transport and Road Asset Management (TRAM) Group, working in Operations & Maintenance teams based across regional depots.
This is an opportunity to secure a permanent, practical, outdoor role maintaining and improving roads and transport infrastructure across Northern Ireland.
Working as part of a team, you will carry out a wide range of road maintenance duties to ensure the safe and convenient movement of people and goods across the region.

For these roles, successful candidates will receive:
* Full operational training
* Category C & E licence training (if required)
* NHSS12 T1 and T2 certification
* Access to a dedicated DfI training facility
Applicants must, by the closing date for applications:
1. Have a minimum of six months' experience of labouring
AND
2. Hold a full current driving licence (Class B), which will permit the candidate to drive in Northern Ireland
AND
3. Hold a Category C&E licence or be prepared to get one within their first year of employment
Definition of labouring - Heavy manual work including the use of basic machinery or tools within a road maintenance, construction, agricultural or similar setting.
