The Role:
As Senior Accountant, you will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients, delivering a full range of accounting and financial services. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality outputs while supporting junior team members and working closely with managers and partners.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include: Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients including SMEs and limited companies Producing management accounts and financial reports Preparing and reviewing VAT returns and tax computations Liaising directly with clients, providing clear and proactive support Supporting junior staff with technical queries and development Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and deadlines
To be considered for this Senior Accountant position:
The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified (or part-qualified with strong practice experience). You will have a solid background in an accountancy practice, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
You will also be: Detail-oriented and highly organised Confident in client-facing situations A strong communicator with a collaborative approach Keen to progress your career within practice
