Location: Winchester We have an opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our experienced and talented structures team. Our projects include large complex schemes with contract values over £200 million to smaller local client focussed tasks. We work both in the UK and internationally with interesting clients including F1 Teams, motor manufacturers, Schools/Universities, Contractors, and Developers. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the provision of a wide range of services. Who are we? Production of structural engineering work packages relating to medium to large development projects from initial concept through to completion. Production of calculations packages for Building Control submission. Undertake survey inspections and produce written reports in good English on findings, set out in a logical manner with appropriate recommendations. Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. Represent the company at external meetings with clients, contractors, and fellow professionals. Prepare client / project proposals. Agree design philosophy / design fundamentals. Manage individuals or small groups within the team including graduates and technicians Manage projects and their workflow and allocate resource accordingly. Input into the team weekly resource. Be responsible for delivering work to a fee and to timescales agreed Please note this role will involve travel to sites across the UK. To be considered for this role you should possess / evidence: Be a graduate with a good degree in structural engineering Member of Institution of Civil Engineers or Institution of Structural Engineers Proven experience of working in a relevant design role A good understanding of regulatory requirements Proficiency in use of design software such as Tekla, Tedds, SCIA
