We're currently looking for a skilled CNC Turner Setter Operator to join our growing production team in Leicester. If you have a passion for precision engineering and enjoy working with high-quality components to tight tolerances, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 14:30 – 23:00
* Friday: 14:30 – 20:00
What You'll Be Doing
* Setting CNC turning machines (single and/or twin spindle) within target times
* Operating machines and making necessary adjustments for optimal performance
* Producing high-quality components in line with technical drawings
* Working to tight tolerances across a variety of materials
* Carrying out in-process inspections using measuring equipment
* Collaborating with Quality and Production teams
* Supporting machining improvements and capability
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
* Assisting with programming tasks where required
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 2 years' experience in CNC turning (setting & operating)
* Background in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience using inspection tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges)
* Good understanding of machining processes and tooling (desirable)
* Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001
