Due to continued expansion, the business is now looking to recruit a new, Commercial Relationship Coordinator to join the team. This position is an immediate start, temp to permanent role.

Job Vacancy
The Commercial Relationship Coordinator is a key link between customers, the customer excellence team, and internal production departments. The role is responsible for managing customer communication, contract updates, sales order information, and internal planning activities to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and accurately. This position blends commercial planning with customer relationship management, ensuring strong communication, accurate data, and a smooth flow of information that supports high service levels and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate with customers regularly regarding contract status, delivery progress, and key updates via email/ telephone and face2face
Complete sales contract reviews for new orders
Input sales order data into system accurately and promptly
Maintain data integrity within the ERP system
Provide administrative support to Sales, Customer Excellence, and Production Control teams
Support export compliance administration when required
Plan production orders based on customer‑required dates
Manage and monitor customer schedules, ensuring internal teams remain aligned with requirements
Handle variations in the production plan and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders
Maintain a feedback loop for routing updates, template changes, and process improvements
Raise material purchase orders and expedite material where necessary
Escalate supply issues promptly to ensure customer commitments are met
Ensure "right first time" principles are applied in day-to-day tasksQualifications and Experience
Exceptionally clear and concise communication skills (spoken and written)
Understanding planning requirements in production environments
IT literacy and excellent organisation skills
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, self motivated approach
Accurate and efficient data inputting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to plan and manage workload effectivelySalary Information
This is a Monday to Friday, days-based position located in Sheffield with a starting salary of £28,000 - £32,000, depending on background experience. Working in fast-paced environment, while maintaining clear communication with customers, haulage providers, warehouses and plant management to assure operations meet goals and objectives.
