Cover Supervisor Location: West Midlands, Worcestershire, Fairfield Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £89 - £99 Per day Job Duties: Supervising and managing classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher Implementing prepared lesson plans and ensuring a productive learning environment Managing student behaviour and ensuring adherence to school policies Providing support to students with their learning and assisting with any questions Reporting back on student progress and any issues to the teaching staff Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths Experience working with children or young people Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently Education: Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience working with children or young people is required Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of classroom management techniques Ability to communicate effectively with students and teaching staff Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask Preferred Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: Work hours typically follow the school schedule May require standing and moving around the classroom for extended periods Interaction with students, teaching staff, and parents/guardians All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
