Senior Mechanical Engineer - Net Zero (Full or Part time), Stockton-on-Tees
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Net Zero Energy Business. This position can be based in Glasgow, Bristol, or Stockton, with a flexible mixture of home-working and office/site collaboration. We welcome applicants wishing to work part-time.

Your Purpose:
You will work on diverse tasks, possibly within small projects or larger teams, collaborating closely with clients and mentoring junior colleagues. Building relationships and making a positive impact are key aspects of this role.
Examples of your work:
* Leading technical aspects of mechanical engineering projects across various design phases.
* Mentoring and developing team members.
Our focus areas include power generation from gas, biomass, hydro, nuclear, hydrogen storage, and industrial decarbonisation.
What you can bring:
* Chartered Engineer and member of IMechE (desirable).
* Strong technical background.
* Experience in regulated industries (power, chemical, oil & gas) (desirable).
Additional beneficial experience:
* Pipe stress analysis.
* Equipment and engineering specification writing.
* Site survey and operational experience.
* High temperature component life assessment.
* Fitness for service assessments.
* Pipeline routing and design.
* Deliverable assurance.
