The role
We are seeking a customer service focused Zero Hour Driver to join our Newbury Paint and Repair Centre and play a vital role in our day-to-day operations by driving and relocating vehicles and parts. Reporting to the Parts Manager, this customer facing role will provide assistance to our parts operations and provides you with a varied role where no two days look the same. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis.
Who you are
You will have a full clean UK driving licence, with previous experience driving a long wheel base van. You will be able to demonstrate the following skills:
• A customer service focus with the ability to be the face of our business
• Strong organisation and time management skills to plan tasks and routes
• Excellent paperwork skills
What you’ll do
• Support Parts colleagues by delivering parts to aid service operations
• Assist in picking and packing parts order and delivering to customers
• Provide outstanding customer service when delivering parts to customers
• Ensure deliveries and collections are completed within required timeframes
• Complete required paperwork to confirm receipt or delivery of parts
• Ensure driving operations are completed to the highest safety standards and in line with road laws
