As a Manufacturing Key Operative - Line Setter, you’ll make sure that all production machinery is available and ready to meet morning production demands at all times, working with engineering and non-engineering colleagues to initiate improvement to the engineering service provided on site.
Tasks could include all pre-production start up procedures including head checks, machine settings, and blade and belt checks. You’ll set machines up in line with the schedule and will carry out planned maintenance, maintaining engineering operational, housekeeping, hygiene, minor repairs, Health and Safety and quality standards and performance at all times.

About you
You’ll be the kind of person who:
* Can identify the difference between good and poor quality products and take corrective action when required
* Is able to work in a fast paced food manufacturing environment
* Has an NVQ in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
* Is flexible and adaptable with great teamwork skills
* Can work in chilled temperature of approx. 8 degrees and below and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
* Can complete and comply with relevant business and site policies such as Health and Safety and Food Safety
