As our Social Media & Local Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in growing the online presence and visibility of our local BabyBallers franchise clubs. You’ll work closely with both our internal content/design team and individual club owners to plan and execute content strategies that generate leads, build brand awareness, and increase parent engagement at a local level.
This is a hands-on, strategic role suited to someone with real experience in social media, digital marketing, and multi-location or franchise environments. You’ll bring ideas to the table, identify local opportunities, and take ownership of social performance across multiple pages.
While much of the work can be carried out remotely, the role will require regular visits to clubs, as well as office-based collaboration in Essex on designated days.
⸻
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage, support and grow the social media presence of individual BabyBallers clubs (primarily Facebook and Instagram)
• Plan, schedule and optimise content using pre-designed visual assets provided by our in-house team
• Write compelling, on-brand copy and captions that speak directly to parents of young children
• Develop and implement local lead-generation strategies, including paid social campaigns, competitions, referral promotions, and email initiatives
• Analyse and report on performance across accounts, using insights to continually refine strategy
• Liaise with club owners to ensure consistency in messaging and maximise their marketing potential
• Collaborate with the internal design and content team to brief new visuals when required
• Visit club sessions and attend in-person meetings to support campaigns, gather content and monitor brand implementation
⸻
About You:
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a social media or digital marketing role (multi-site, franchise or children’s brand experience a strong advantage)
• Proven track record of growing and managing multiple accounts
• Strong knowledge of Meta Business Suite, paid ads (Facebook/Instagram), audience targeting and campaign performance metrics
• Excellent copywriting and content planning skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for a parent-focused audience
• Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders
• Proactive, ideas-driven and commercially aware – always thinking of ways to improve reach, leads and brand trust
• Confident in both remote and in-person working environments
• Bonus: Familiarity with WordPress or basic web content updates
⸻
You’ll Thrive In This Role If You Are:
• Passionate about delivering meaningful, family-focused marketing
• Naturally strategic, with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Eager to grow within a fast-moving, child-centred brand
