At Evoke, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Retail Compliance Policy to lead the creation and implementation of robust compliance policies across our retail operations. What you will be doing
1. Develop and implement policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements to create and maintain an industry-leading compliant environment, which encourages customer sustainability and promotes positive play.
2. Monitor and interpret developments impacting the compliance environment, including regulatory change, changes to regulator guidance and codes, and relevant enforcement actions; iterating policy positions in response.
3. Ensure business goals, initiatives, and projects are successfully delivered in a compliant manner by partnering with commercial and operational teams to provide subject matter expertise and guidance; ensuring relevant metrics are reviewed and analyzed regularly.
4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure practical application and processes are consistent with stated policies and procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement through ownership of relevant processes and policy changes.
5. Lead the management of compliance incidents and support investigations of cases raised by external bodies, ensuring details are scrutinized with regulatory rigor, root causes identified, and remedial actions implemented to prevent recurrence.
6. Ensure high standards of training, communication, and awareness are provided to colleagues, aligned with their roles and functions.
Who we are looking for

* Experience in a complex and scaled operating environment.
* Technical understanding of non-remote regulatory requirements for anti-money laundering, customer due diligence, and safer gambling applicable to UK and Jersey.
* Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks and industry best practices.
* Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills and logical reasoning.
