Due to growth, Radis Community Care is recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team based in Millbrook House, Soham.
You will be working 20 hours per week, with morning and late shifts, plus alternate weekends. (Overtime available, cover for holiday and sickness). Potential cover for night shifts.
At this present time, we are unable to consider Sponsorship for this role.
About the role
As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, you will primarily support elderly residents who are finding it difficult to cope due to physical frailty, helping them maintain independence. Responsibilities include assisting residents with mobility, helping them move to dining areas at meal times, communal areas for social activities, and to their bedrooms upon request.
The role involves supporting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, and dressing. You will also have opportunities to engage in physical and mental stimulation through recreational and social activities, both individually and in groups.
The aim is to promote residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the highest standards of care.
