Support Worker – Cheddle Lodge
We’re looking for a Support Worker to join our team at Cheddle Lodge. Cheddle Lodge is a warm, friendly and settled 13 bed home that provides person‑centred support for adults with learning disabilities and autism and complex physical disabilities. It’s a calm and welcoming environment, where the home thrives on the strong, supportive relationships built between residents, staff, families and carers, creating a sense of stability, trust and genuine connection in daily life.
Responsibilities
* Understand and work to provide an excellent standard of person‑centred care in a safe and nurturing environment.
* Support daily routines to provide structure and stability for our residents and build meaningful relationships.
* Promote independence and are committed to supporting our residents to receive an excellent standard of care and giving them the opportunity to live a full and active life.
* Understand the needs of and a positive attitude towards people with disabilities.
* Align to our values and share our passion for what we do and why we do it.
* Are willing to work flexibly to cover shifts that will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
* Have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written (including basic IT skills).
* Previous demonstrable experience in care.

* Positive DBS check (including barred list checks where applicable) in line with statutory guidance.
* References covering the past five years and full career history.
