At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland, we design, develop, and produce radial piston motors, working in partnership with renowned international OEMs in industries such as material handling, construction, and forestry machinery.
Our trainee program as a "Commercial Graduate Specialist" is your career start in an internationally successful company. Over 18-24 months, you will rotate through specialist departments at our plant in Glenrothes and abroad, tailored to your interests and development needs.
What will you be doing?
* Gaining in-depth insight into Financial Controlling, Supply Chain, and Human Resources functions within Bosch Rexroth, with potential placements in finance, supply chain/purchasing, and HR.
* Supporting the Commercial team, including areas such as Commercial, Business Intelligence & CRM, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Customer Service.
* Undertaking technical and project tasks along with operational and strategic responsibilities.
* Providing commercial support and administration for projects and contracts, including change control, performance monitoring, and risk management.
* Building and maintaining effective relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers to deliver value.
* Gaining experience of our diverse product and service portfolio, and understanding the commercial aspects and internal processes of our business.
* Supporting continuous process improvement, offering fresh perspectives, and applying your academic knowledge.
* Taking accountability for specific projects and ensuring their successful delivery.
* Supporting HR-related issues at the site, including disciplinary matters when necessary.
* Assisting the Supply Chain function with project work.
* Supporting Financial Controlling with forecasting, planning, and reporting.
What are we looking for?
In the Graduate Specialist Program (GSP), you are a technically skilled individual with a good understanding of current market developments. You can combine your passion for industrial technology with market economics.
* Education: Master’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
* A motivated individual seeking a fulfilling career with commercial potential.
* Software and IT skills: Preferably experience with SAP or similar ERP systems; proficient in Microsoft Office products.
* Ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
* Practical experience: Challenging industrial internships or initial work experience in a technical environment.
* Soft skills: Excellent communication, high self-motivation, commitment, customer and supplier engagement, openness to new ideas, goal-oriented, and a team player.
* Mobility: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Computer literacy, especially in Excel.
