Role Overview:
* Location: Milton Keynes (with international operational oversight)

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead end-to-end logistics operations across UK and overseas sites, ensuring resilient, flexible, and cost-effective supply chains.
* Manage and develop a diverse team of ~62 people across multiple locations and functions.
* Oversee supplier delivery performance and a £35m operational budget, ensuring alignment with business goals.
* Drive health & safety excellence, embedding a culture of individual responsibility and compliance.
* Develop operational strategies to enhance warehouse and distribution capabilities, customer satisfaction, and service quality.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders, including customer relations, HR, and finance, to deliver strategic objectives.
* Implement workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives to strengthen team capability.
* Benchmark, review, and refine processes to achieve best-in-class logistics performance.
* Provide expert counsel to teams and maintain reporting on key operational metrics.
Main Skills Needed:
* Extensive experience in managing global logistics, supply chain, production, inventory, and distribution operations.
* Proven leadership of large, geographically dispersed teams with a strong focus on service excellence.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to drive operational change and continuous improvement.
* Strong relationship management, influencing, and negotiation skills at senior levels.
* Deep knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and risk management practices.
* Financial acumen, with experience managing substantial operational budgets.
* Resilient under pressure and able to navigate complex, high-stakes environments.
* Desirable: Lean Six Sigma certification, export/import compliance knowledge, government logistics experience.
