Job Title: Senior Sous Chef
Aramark UK is seeking a dedicated and driven Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Chessington World of Adventures Resort. This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Operational Head Chef on site, acting as their number 2 in the Hotel Kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. In the absence of the Head Chef, assume responsibility for the overall kitchen operation.
2. Oversee the production of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
3. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, service, and presentation.
4. Support with managing the P&L and all associated financials.
5. Deliver first-class food throughout service.
6. Manage all associated administration.
7. Manage and champion daily and weekly cleaning schedules and ensure compliance with all processes and procedures, including checklists and cleaning schedules.
8. Work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
Candidate Requirements:
* Relevant culinary experience at a Sous Chef or Head Chef level.
* A passion for food and service.
* Flexible approach to hours and duties.
* IT literate, numerate, and able to communicate effectively across disciplines.
About the Role:
As a Senior Sous Chef, you will lead, coach, and develop a large team, involved in innovation and product development. You will support the Head Chef with team 1-2-1s, rotas, and training plans. Food safety and cleanliness are key priorities.
