Overview
The Health Promotion Service leads on approaches and services which maintain and improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities. This covers the life course, early years and children, adults and older adults.
We are looking for a part-time Health Promotion Support Worker. You will work in accordance with Fife Health & Social Care Partnership’s strategic and operational goals for the Health Promotion Service, focusing on prevention, early intervention and reducing health inequalities agendas.
You will work directly with colleagues in the Health Promotion Service and in partnership with colleagues from Health & Social Care, NHS Fife and Fife Council, plus a range of third and voluntary sector partners.
Responsibilities
* Assisting Health Promotion Officers in the delivery, monitoring and evaluation of health promotion programmes and services Fife-wide.
* Monitoring and evaluation of programmes and present findings in a variety of formats.
* Organization and participation in workshops/events/meetings.
Requirements
You will be required to demonstrate your understanding of health promotion theory and the impact of inequalities on health. You will also be required to demonstrate your experience of supporting programme delivery, evaluation and monitoring projects.
You should be educated to SVQ Level 3 in a health-related subject or equivalent with experience in Health Promotion or Community Development setting.

Right to work in the UK
To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country. This permission is, without exception, granted by the UK Visas and Immigration Service.

However, this is only possible if the employer is a licensed Sponsor, and if the post does not fall below the current minimum salary threshold or ‘going rate’.
