As Assistant Headteacher, you will work closely with the Headteacher and leadership team to:
Support the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school
Lead on teaching, learning, and curriculum development for pupils with ASD
Promote inclusive practice and high expectations for all pupils
Support staff development, coaching, and wellbeing
Contribute to safeguarding, behaviour, and pastoral systems
Build strong partnerships with families, therapists, and external agencies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Significant experience working with pupils with ASD and SEN
Leadership experience or readiness to step into a senior leadership role
A strong understanding of inclusive pedagogy and SEND legislation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A calm, resilient, and reflective approach to leadership
