Overview
Contract: Full Time (including occasional evenings, weekends, and night shifts as required). We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to take on the role of Administrative Coordinator within our Urgent and Emergency Care Department at Frimley Park Hospital. This is a newly established position offering a unique opportunity to shape and develop the role in collaboration with the Directorate Service Manager. As the lead for the administrative team in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the department and ensuring high standards of service delivery. This is an exciting time to join the Emergency Department with a focus on patient-centred care and modernised facilities.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of Band 2 and Band 3 administrative staff, overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
* Support and motivate the team to consistently provide excellent customer care in a 24/7, 365-day service.
* Contribute to planning and coordination of critical incidents and help develop and restructure administrative services to meet evolving departmental demands.
* Take responsibility for workforce planning and recruitment, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and effective onboard-ing of new hires.
* Ensure all team members complete mandatory training and appraisals on time, maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor and maintain staff performance, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to maintain a skilled and engaged workforce.
Qualifications
* Proactive individual with strong administrative and leadership experience, preferably within a healthcare environment.
