An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced C++ Software Engineer to join Collins Aerospace on a hybrid working basis. The successful candidate will join an established team of software engineers and technical professionals to work on Display Control Software as part of the Simulation & Training Solutions Engineering Team located in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, UK.
Basic Requirements:
1. Proven C++ Programming Skills (Advanced Modern C++ 14/17/20)
2. Excellent communication skills
3. Office based for a minimum of 3 days per week along with either;
4. Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) User Interface Experience
5. OR
6. C# ASP.NET skills
Preferred Skills / Experience:
7. Atlassian Toolset (JIRA)
8. Display Systems/ Simulation Industry Knowledge
9. Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math's (STEM) discipline with relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, relevant and proven experience
Any of the following skills would be advantageous:
10. Typescript / JavaScript and CSS / HTML
11. Familiarity with JSON and JSON RPC
12. Experience with API Protocols
13. Atlassian Toolset (Confluence, Crucible, Bamboo)
