SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary
Pay: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Location: Whitleigh, Plymouth
Start Date: ASAP – ongoing, with potential to extend into the new year and become a contracted school role
We are seeking a confident and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary SEN school in Whitleigh. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.
About the Role:
* Support secondary-aged students in small group and one-to-one settings.
* Assist across a range of subjects, adapting materials to suit individual learning styles.
* Promote engagement, independence, and positive behaviour.
* Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure every learner achieves their best.
About You:
* Confident supporting secondary-aged students or delivering secondary curriculum content.
* Patient, empathetic, and adaptable in your approach.
* Experience working with SEN students is desirable, but strong behaviour management and enthusiasm are equally valued.
* Team player with excellent communication skills.
