We are currently recruiting for a permanent position an Inside Sales Account Manager (German-speaking). Are you a motivated sales professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships? In this role, you’ll be the voice of Gilson for customers across your territory—connecting via phone, email, and social platforms to promote our Manual Liquid Handling Services (SERM), including pipette calibration, Platemaster servicing, training, and parts. You’ll follow proven sales strategies to grow your territory, focusing on customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. What You’ll Do Achieve sales targets for volume, product mix, and service awareness. Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key market segments. Conduct outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings to engage prospects. Leverage social selling tools to generate leads and promote Gilson’s offerings. Maintain accurate records in our CRM system, including leads and forecasts. Prepare quotes and pricing agreements in line with company policies. Participate in ongoing training to deepen your product knowledge. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues. What You Bring Fluent in German and English (additional languages are a plus). Degree in Life Sciences or related field preferred—or equivalent experience. Minimum 1 year of outbound sales experience, ideally in life sciences or lab environments. Proficiency with CRM systems and digital sales tools. Strong communication skills and a confident phone presence. Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently or in a team. Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle. Bonus Points For Experience with lab or research instrumentation. Familiarity with Gilson products, especially pipettes and capital equipment. Ready to make an impact in science?
